showing OFF!! when will it STOP?
Thought I should add this bit a little more truth from one who can’t stop shouting it all over the place. I spent so very long despising my appearance: when I was 20 I was put on powerful psychiatric meds that made me gain a lot of weight, and made my hair fall out… amongst other things. I have been forced to go back on meds similar but not as horrific since then. I had… well I felt pretty horrible about the way I looked for a long time.
So. Please forgive me for… being so vain. I don’t know if that’s what it is but I guess so.
Paul.

you have totes no reason to have an issue about your looks: you lucked in Paul. I hope the head stuff is a bit easier for you; sorry you’ve had such a hard time. As for the photo: it’s one of my faves so far in this group. Love the grain and the colour balance is perfect.

I see nothing wrong here. I don’t think it is vain to admire oneself…to a certain degree. Especially when they look as fine as you, and have something to admire. :) Nice self portrait. Love the highlights and shadows that show off the contour of your body. I’m going to have to add you to my favorites. :)

hey, if you got it…..
good for you! I can relate completely and utterly (o:
I love your work, by the way, which is what I intended commenting on- honest! lol in fact, I thought this was a painting at first, until closer inspection, so I’m not a complete and utter pervert… ahem…
seriously, though, dont apologise for putting yourself out there. we are all a bit narcissistic, only most people arent brave enough to admit to it! just for the record, I’m absolutely gorgeous myself! (o;
keep up the great work, Paul. (and no, I dont just mean on your abs!)

You can’t help it if you’re ridiculously really really really good looking!

you’re gorgeous, revel in it. Flaunt it while you’ve got it as they say.
i love your work and your writing and have been visiting your site many times over the past few days, it’s made me really dreamy and i keep thinking about the things you’ve said. keep up the great work…there’s a lot of us that relate to it, to your thoughts & emotions.
I’m not as eloquent as you on screen, only in my own head space, think i worry about being as open & truthful and letting everyone see the real me….so you’re very brave emotionally as well.

thank you all.. the truth is that i started out with total honesty as a means of DEFENSE. it is harder for people to attack me if i have already confessed to so very much publically. it IS scary of course of course – but this is i think the hardest and hence the most rewarding part of artistry in itself.

Uhm… if you like… wanted to show your full body head to toe, i don’t think any of us ladies would be offended. ;)
Don’t worry, being confident isn’t vain. Show what you’ve worked so hard to get. Are you vain for showing incredible artistry? I think not.

Hey – you’re gorgeous! and I’m old enough to be your mother (and some!) Great work.
