Sunset over the Grand Union Canal in Kensal Green, looking west towards Mitre Bridge. Almost every day I walk along this stretch of canal, enjoying how it changes with the seasons, envying those who live in the nicer of the narrowboats. This area becomes fairly industrial, with the North Pole railway yards immediately to the left of this shot and the huge railway marshalling yards of the Willesden Junction complex just beyond. Despite all that, I like the tranquility of this scene.
Buy thus photograph for anyone who loves Britain’s wonderful canal system.
