Through the Fog
A heavy fog descended over London on 23 December 2007. I headed down to the Grand Union Canal to see whether there were any opportunities and was happy to get several highly evocative images. This is one of them.

love this one!! what time of day is this? its looking pretty dark!
:))
Paul Davey replied
Thanks as always, Dinghi! It was around 3.30 pm but the fog had seriously dulled the light anyway – was like shooting at twilight the whole day. It was very ‘atmospheric’!

What a wonderful photograph! Paul, I just love the way you’ve captured light in the ‘midst of the mist’....it’s created the most wonderful mood without the dullness often associated with fog. It’s beautifully photographed!!
Paul Davey replied
Awww Holly, that’s kind of you to say so. :-)
