XTC Mixed Tape
Wonky ink drawing on paper.
This mixed tape doesn’t actually exist but if it did it would definitely contain the songs Making Plans for Nigel, Burning With Optimism’s Flames, Generals & Majors and 1000 Umbrellas.

Thanks for the comment Lois. Judging by your photo you’re a Bowie fan. Me too! Long live the Thin White Duke!
Lois Romer
Thats cool, hey i like your dinner party idea and the guest list and the musicians. how about we add The Jam to the mix as well. and i would definately ask Mr Bowie to sing The laughing gnome song.
Paul Compton replied
Mr Bowie will be singing for his supper! The Laughing Gnome will definitely be on the song list as well as the entire Ziggy Stardust album.

I love my old cassettes… I have a box or two of them still, and there’s something about the old hissy analogue that is nostalgic. I do have a song called XTC funnily enough… I wonder if I could send it to you Paul, so you can add it to your list of virtual songs on this virtual tape. Or not, if you hate the track, haha.
Paul Compton replied
I love my cassettes. The first cassette I bought when I was little was the soundtrack to the movie Beetlejuice. Or was it Opposites Attract by Paula Abdul? I can’t recall which came first – it’s a bit like the chicken and the egg thing…I still have both of them either way. Analogue rocks!
