this reminds me of a childhood wish that I made to one day find the magic suitcase, it would contain all the wonders in the world and everyone would be happy! this must be it! :)
I love this one! It stood out the strongest out of them all for me! I like your style.. Inks can be tricky. But you show here that you are the master of them! Also, that dinner party of yours sounds absoloutely SPLENDID! (:
This is a great image. I love the setting, the paper the ink the texture that you have created to put this for now empty suitcase down. Lovely work again.
you are certainly a clever boy. I love the way the light is sort of spreading out from around the case …as though it’s about to blast off and head for the stars or something…this is no ordinary suitcase!
I guess because it’s all alone and as if it’s waiting for something to happen. Thank you for dropping by my page and for commenting on my work picketty : )
Oh wow. Thank you so much Jen. I’d glad you appreciate this. To me objects hold such power and intrigue. This suitcase belonged to my parents in the 60’s. It’s gone now but I’ll always remember it. Best wishes to you.
Your open suitcase speaks volumes to me! So many memories from the past come to mind – from wonderful, happy holidays in childhood, the excitement of family and friends coming and going, the sadness of my mother packing my father’s clothes after his death. Thank you for this one Paul.
