Paul, this is so adorable :] I’m wanting to buy a print of it, but I think I’m going to have to settle for a card for now until I have more money I can spend freely :D But I truly love this work. The splash of colours, the rawness, the sketchiness, the layers over the original sketches, the cuteness. And the fact it’s a fox :P I love foxes and wolves. Actually, instead of the card, are you willing to part with the original? If so let me know in a message about the details and I’ll see if I can afford to get it :P If not, that’s cool, I’ll just get the card and maybe a framed print later on ;]

paul, i saw this pop up on my watchlist feed and immediately thought of one night the boy became a fox – a piece of yours that i love so strongly. i know you don’t use colours much, but gee they’re effective here… what a beauty he is… i particularly love the undefined edges and splashes of colour, you don’t quite know where he begins and ends and i think that’s just how he likes it. love, love, love x

Very different from anything I’ve seen from you. But then again this is different from anything I’ve seen at all and you have always been one to be so creative and original with the subject and the medium. Love how the pencil and pen sketches underneath suggests a moving gesture as though the fox in seeking something, and once it has found it; it is still and complete in full color; a progressing story in one picture.
