ellejayerose
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw…. who birthed this love child of his?
or has he travelled back to his childhood in some psychoanalytic monologue questioning how he arrived at such a problematic point in time?
Paul Compton replied
Actually none of the above. He’s just a kid who seems to suffer from pantophobia (no, not a fear of pants but the fear of everything!) This phobia really exists and the sufferers are very plagued, nervous people – in other words they’re Paul’s People x : )
Firedrake
Hehe…love those eyebrows!
Jeremy Baum
brilliant.
i really like “Deconstucting Harry”, “Crimes and Misdemeanors”, and “Radio Days”.
Paul Compton replied
Yes!!! Deconstructing Harry is one of my favourites too! I also adore Stardust Memories, Hannah & Her Sisters and Annie Hall. I am yet to see Radio Days but I’ve heard it has a young Seth Green in it. Thanks so much Jeremy : )

This makes me laugh. I have a friend named Woody and he always wears glasses like the one you’ve pictured, and even looks a little similar to the character.

I love his clothes of an older generation – the little collar diving out of the top, the shirt bottom untucked, his curl of hair which is so clear in the shadow, little clenched hands and knees a’ knockin :o) The side stare at his shadow – cos he’s too scared to look at it ‘full on’ :o) PRICELESS.
Paul Compton replied 21 days ago
Your comments are priceless gottheshot! So glad you like this character – visually he’s sort of based on one of my heroes: Woody Allen hence the name ; )

A pleasure to comment on such ‘full of life’ character drawn with such talent.
When an artist can bring an emotion to the viewer with their artwork or photo – then it can be said that they have achieved their goal.
Kind regards, Paul.
