I think she knows more than she’s letting on. I like to think of her as lost in time more than anything but of course it’s open to interpretation. Thank you so much for commenting Nicola : )
Wow, so beautiful, such a sweet face, beutiful in lights and shadows, love the hair and the highlights in her eyes. So cool victorian, hee hee, what i been slaving over lately, research & art, we are like twilight zone kids
We are twilight zone kids, you and I pinky. So glad you like this. I was almost going to throw this drawing out but something about her eyes told me not to. Thank you for the favouritings too : )
I love how you explore the use of different mediums Paul. I’d imagine that drawing with pencil on damp paper makes it more difficult for it to show up, but it has a great effect on the lost girl here.
Yes, the paper started to tear up a little near the bottom so the detail in her clothes has faded away. Makes her look more ghostlike or lost though. Hope you’re well Mui-Ling, thank you : )

wonderful soft treatment, beautifully done!
Paul Compton replied
Thank you Darkest. Working with pencil on wet paper is really irritating and I’ll never do it again.
