I’m really enjoying this drawing and the previous one of the goat, they sort of reminds me of the old grotesque etchings by Goya which I absolutely adore. And I really enjoy the companionship of the works to a piece of literature. Not a book I have read myself, but I appreciate it all the same.

Is there a quote you could post up in the description that shows a little bit of what inspired this work? Are you allowed to do that here though… Mmm… I’m not too sure if that might breach copyright or not.

Hey Mathew. Technically I need to ask permission of the publisher but I may be able to do it if I quote the author, title, publisher and page number. I don’t know if I’m willing to toy with the copyright gods just yet – I might take it up with the Red Bubble gods. (The description that this picture is made of is on page 221 of the book.)
