Synchromatic Transparent Analine Dyes – Acrylic – Pastel – Spray Paint – Ink Pen – On Canvas
When reflecting upon my works as a painter I see periods where strong feelings are transcribed lucidly onto canvas. I see a gritty harshness represented from times immersed in city living which seemed to challenge me in unnatural and unnecessary ways.
A large green meteor about to crash into the apocalyptic cityscape of crumbling buildings ephemerally rooted in something dark; all this below the glowing red sky. Ganesha oversees the doorway to a brightly colored, lighter existence. The entrance happens to lay amidst cavernous darkness.
That’s me sitting on Ganesha’s right ear fearful of falling into the abyss and the light, as the world around crumbles. I sit there waiting for a harmonious world existence.
