I love being a tourist in my own country; the unique flora and fauna, the wonderful people, the striking vivid colours. Photography has opened up my country to me. I try to get out into it & photograph it as often as I can. Access to the great Australian outback is within easy reach of everyone! I hope you take the time to view some of my photos & I hope that they inspire you to go for a drive on the weekend and see what you can see.

where on earth did you take it. not at henley beach i hope

  • LOL! No – it was taken on the road coming in to Port Moorowie, on the Yorke Peninsula.
But…..brown snakes are everywhere, especially in the beachside suburbs! eek!! :)

i presume you had your zoom on lol, or is it dead. good close up anyway.

  • I got up close, very close. It was dead – killed by a car only moments before I came across it. It still made me extremely nervous though and my son refused to get out of the car!! :)

  • thanks Margaret – I’m not in a hurry to come face to face with another one anytime soon! :)
