Sometimes I take on the challenge far reaching ! where there is less than the ideal environmental influence, lighting is all important, a steady hand, the effects of mirror reflection, shade, shadow and coloring, the brilliant spot lighting that bleaches out the colors and tones, often I joke that all pictures look good in the dark, but in this case The camera makes my efforts look good, with the help of a tripod, a UV & PL C Polarization filter and backing off and re-positioning several times to remove all compromising some the above effects,Olympus E-510 with the 40 to 150 mm lens, at 54mm, three exposures! taken with bracketing, but of course to little help, but I have made notation, for the next time, to get the answers and results. The Beauty is that this display is a sample of the Native American Artist,of New Mexico and area, not only are the shapes of this earthenware unique to the tribes, the scroll and markings are also symbolic of artistic past, One sure thing is you will not find Made in Japan or China or India on any of these Native American Art creations, Truly Made in the USA !
