The rekindling of an old flame, at the age of 22 years old, I couldn’t afford much on $65.00 a week Military pay, what I didn’t put into savings, went toward art supplies, after-all I had a roof over my head, clothes on my back and three square meals a day. I was able to afford a TV, in a cabinet called a Family enjoyment center, Bought used from an Airman that needed money to buy a car, so he could date the Ladies. me I’d crank up the best FM stereo radio stations for a hundred miles around and sit for hours and learn the skills and techniques of art, before long I started painting friends girlfriend pictures from wallet size pictures, be darned if that turned into more money than the military pay! This picture I kept for my self, in fact still have it today, hanging over the guest room headboard, Having taken a picture of it with the kodak DC 4800 into photoshop CS3, off and on for the last two or three days, attempting to revitilize the content, For enjoyment purposes only, I could get fancy, but it’s the excercise and practice and fun of sharing, where the learning curve all started, Special moments , shared with friends! Smiling moments remembered! the original is 2X3 ft, the influence of photoshop, correcting lighting, shadows, saturation sharpness, and most important RGB, coloration, it seems fading had reduced the brilliance! Hoping you enjoy!
