Time to head for the Skies, 2005 Arky made her maiden voyage to Albuquerque, New Mexico USA. the early days of digital, 3.1 MP Kodak Moment, It was a fun year one of those years where out of 9 days of fiesta and 7 days mass assension got off the ground on time, also the last year that Kodak had sponsored with fiestas, I sure hated to see them pull out, they were good for us and we them, but at a time when digital was on the increase it was hard to sell film, and of course they had fallen behind into the digital market, Thank You Kodak! Now I’m going on recall here but I seem to recall that the number of permitted entries for the event was regulated to 600 Ballons! of course it can be observed that they do launch from other places within the city!

A quieter moment, no distractions, but the intent to capture special moments, I’ve found some of these special moments, and at times even get into moods of what if, and how come, uncertainty, but reflection based on having been there, and a comparison of was it cause or because, each of us deals with a different view, I have for instance carried a lifetime of discovery and challenge at the forfront of enjoying the moments, I can explain why, I live !

Yes it is ! this is the 20th year now I’ve been attending Fiesta, so the number of pictures are up in the thousands, and all of them, especially the Special Shapes are fun to view !
