“Albuquerque, New Mexico Annual Invitational Balloon Fiesta” (2008) Hidden behind any magnificent colored photograph, is the finest of shaded details that contribute to its beauty, even in the darkroom days we used this method to determine the quality of the capture, Today thanks to the digital tools this takes a matter of seconds to removing the color bands ( Desaturation )then the details.can be revealed.as a photographic study in the transitioning process of learning to capture great images, it is a study of white balance and defining details, of course with all photographic review, it can’t be stressed enough, always Save the original, ALWAYS ! This picture and many others make up the 20 year collection of Airabelle pictures, most all of my best have B/W & color copies, film and digital ! Olympus E-500 with 150 mm Zuiko lens. Albuquerque, New Mexico USA.
