A most wonderful time of year when the Waterfowl begin to return to the Winter playground, here At Mesa View Community Church they have a nurtured home, A quiet place of learning and yearning and reinforcing who we are and where did we come from and where will that knowledge lead us! Then the distractions start arriving, tired, disoriented, but the flight is over and the peaceful place left last year still here, the comfort zone for the winter! with having many friends from the North, they love to come and visit in the winter! they love the View, and I hope you do too! we mingle! Albuquerque, New Mexico USA Olympus E-510 with 70 to 300mm set at 290 mm Zuiko lens. In the likelyhood you may be wondering I’m sitting on the ground pointing up to capture as much sky as possible ’ and the Ms. Mallard comes flying in. just one of those days more lucky than good happened !

A quieter moment, no distractions, but the intent to capture special moments, I’ve found some of these special moments, and at times even get into moods of what if, and how come, uncertainty, but reflection based on having been there, and a comparison of was it cause or because, each of us deals with a different view, I have for instance carried a lifetime of discovery and challenge at the forfront of enjoying the moments, I can explain why, I live !

Wonderful!! Such a delightful surprise to find this graceful bird nearly camoflauged by the white fronds! A truly great shot and I see we have the same camera! (I’m an Oly fan!)

  • I’ve been asked why I’d chose Olympus over the others, Come see the documented smiles ! I’d say ! the rest is of course history ! It makes me look good ! and we’re all students ! Thanks ! Dawne
