Profile

I’m a freelance photographer and writer based in Western Australia.

I have been a photographer for twenty-five years both amateur and professional . In that time I have gained a tertiary qualification in photography at the prestigious Western Australian School of Art, Design and Media; had my work exhibited at the British House Of Parliament, and been published widely in Australia and overseas.

Magazines and Journals – the main focus of my editorial work is in the lifestyle and travel sectors of the media. My main clients have been Outdoors WA and Fishing WA. Other clients have included:Australian Camera, Australian Photography, Rural Doctor, Black and White Photography, and Digital Photographer. My work is also available for sale for editorial uses through RovingEye.

Books – in 2005 and 2006 I had work published in SiteUnseen, an exhibition project culminating in a book showcasing the work of photographic students from Australia.

In 2006 several of my photographs were used to illustrate the book ‘Western Australia – a land of rising stars’. Which was a publication by WA Business News to promote Western Australia

2007 The York Society (Inc) Photographic Awards at the Sandalwood Gallery, York. Won the York prize
2006 Red Shoes Exhibition. Central TAFE graduation exhibition.
2006 SiteUnseen 06 as part of FotoFreo. A group exhibition show casing photographic work from students around Australia.
2005 The York Society (Inc) Photographic Awards at the Sandalwood Gallery, York. Gained two highly commended.
2004 SiteUnseen 05 , held at The Woodside Building, Perth
