Listening to ambient industrial music I tried to delineate the four part repetitive melody into shapes and texture of movement contrasted with an abrasive edge of distressed type to illustrate the industrial sound components that floated in out.
industrial, movement, music, type
I love this work Paul. I really enjoy the way you’ve interpreted sound into picture, and I understand it totally.
love it … real movement … i just love it … what more it there to say !
btw .. what were you listening to ? … has a brian eno look to it LOL
Thanks hi8us – Brian Eno was on just before I started working on it….. No, the band’s name is “GAS” they have an awesome minimalist sound that is very repetitive and industrial, however soothing and mesmeriszing at the same time….
you know i love typography…i see no better use.
I can’t begin to imagine the music you were listening to, but I really am enjoying the result. The subliminal messages hidden in the shapes and patterns, lights and darks, can be interpreted in many ways. I find the format appealing too
Paul your portfolio is like a treasure vault that I visit whenever I feel the need to be inspired. I come in ever so often to search for another glittering gem to unearth.
This… is today’s prize for me.
