Madrid airport is absolutely extraordinary – there are these amazing structural pieces that vignette from a bright yellow colour to deep blue, I’ve managed to capture the spectrum at the green to blue stage…. the roof has this amazing billowing waving curve to it. It’s almost space age!

Yet another great shot Paul – one of the architects [Richard Rogers] who designed this is also responsible for our very own Spencer Street Station.
I mean Southern Cross Station – I’ll never get used to that !
very nice
Great pattern created by the repeating poles. The HDR really introduces an artist quality.
Great again Paul. Do you sell much around the place or here at Red Bubble?
Okay so I really need to check my facts – Southern Cross is by Nicolas Grimshaw, but he used to work with Richard Rogers so they share similar styles …
i like how the reflected fluorescent lights from inside line up with the perspective of the building….as always…… lovin your stuff…
the interior of this building is meant to look amazing… the way airports should be designed. Great photo Paul. Almost looks like a computer render the way it is so precise.
I keep expecting to see ads for Formula One Cars!! This looks like a grandstand at a race! WOW!!
i have used repetition a lot. these forms are strong and the diminishing pattern held against the foreground structure are great counterparts
