Mel Brackstone visits Melbourne
When I heard the famous Mel Brackstone was visiting Melbourne, I had to so insist she not spend it in a hotel room by herself, so my wife Maris and daughter Siena opened our home to her…. It was a pleasure having Mel stay over, I got to have a sneak peek at all her Photoshop layered files…!!!!

Paul, this is a gorgeous coming together of minds. I have been so enthralled at the work you two have done during Mel`s visit with you as has everyone else on RB. I`ve seen the heads only shot from Mel, but she linked me to this one which I think does you both magnificantly. And yeah, Jo in the background is amazing!

wow BB – thanks for your super kind words… you are the most generous of people. Working with Mel was an extreme pleasure on my part, and we connected so well, as you mentioned – you’ve been liking what we have come up with.. shame she lives two states away. So much more fun having two poplw instead of me always relying on tripod and self timer. LOL – just loved every moment we had shooting together.. thanks again BillyBoy, much appreciated!

it is always fascinating to me to see the people behind the art and to see two of them who are so capable of such amazing work together is brilliant
the thing I like most about this, is the “it’s just a snapshot” feel and yet there is (as always with you two) so much more to be seen
the amazing openess of both of your faces and the gentleness of you both, hard to think that you two can produce such “Dark” images at times :-)

What a nice shot to share-
so good to see both you AND Mel!! Clears some things up for me, too-for some reason, I was under the impression that you were Mel’s husband after viewing that shower image of you that Mel has over at 1x (something in the comments??). Don’t know why that was, but this share is great! I look forward to that closeup portrait with all the shadow/light play that Mel’s gonna do! :)
