I wrote a piece earlier on – Moments. This is part of it…
Her face seeks the ground beneath
A vastitude of nothingness
A timeline unmeasured
A dateless existence
Yet looking at your image, I see that there is indeed a whole series of life beneath…..
Stunning work Paul…

Cool image Paul.. is the world really this way or are we just looking at it upside down? Turn it around and its still a corker, only that guy might fall off! Great colours and composition in this…

The world we live in is 10% in consciouse, 90% unconscious – we all connect in underneath but what we see is the only tip of an ice burg… GREAT image Paul. I love it!

Super cool I got to get me one of those planar sectional cut lenses. It could have been interesting to have included a skeleton in the ground to give it a sinister twist. Great concept.

i love the inversion mirror. what a great idea. i don’t think we are even looking at it halfway my friend, but the duality has its own beauty none the less.

Wow. What a great theme. This is so facinating. And such a strong depiction of the theme. The upper world bathed in light and the dark underworld. Oh, well, I think we see the top of the iceberg. Live excists mostly in our mind. And if ten people watch this image, ten people see different things. We see ouselves reflected in the world. But great parts of ourself live on subconscious levels. We can’t even see all of ourselves, so how could we see all of the world.

It is interesting that when I click on the thumbnail it pops up on my screen with only the top half showing. Then I scroll down and there is a whole world below. We definitely miss a lot as we wander through our routine days, oblivious. Thanks for the reminder that there is much more if we pay attention-above, below, beyond, around.

What lies beneath… I wonder if your figure is trying to find a hidden doorway to the dark, or if he is a creature of the light. Interesting concept Paul, superb excecution as always.

Beautiful image Paul – love the colours in this – this would be a perfect place for me to be – when the sky is dark but the land is bright – that just creates a real peace within me. A great concept too.

Great photo Paul and interesting concept. As most of our unconscious mind is unused – makes you wonder what we would see if we could work out a way to ‘tap’ into the 90% we don’t use. You obviously are already! I think photography and art in general helps you to see the world in a way that helps expand our consciousness.
