Love the size of the fuselage, just has an amazing shape about it and the Iberia jet has a striking graphic nature… great looking plane, not so good an airline!

fantastic colours, the lines in the foreground are a perfectly placed!
Lindsay Blamey
Oooooh – This is awesome.. Love the colour pallet.. great composition and cropping as always.. The crisp & drity whites are fantastic as is the graphic tarmac in foreground. NICE!
Martin Derksema
Beautiful image! Interesting how the dirt on the fuselage makes the picture even more interesting. Were you inside the airport building when you took this one?
Juilee Pryor
Lovely shot. I really like the colour balance in your pictures. Some how you manage to make things look really soft somehow without being muted. Nice and very much a signature to your pictures as well. Lovely.
Paul Louis Vil...
Paul, great work as to be expeced by someone with your talent! :D:D How did this get so pink? It’s a colur that’s associated with femininity and girly things but here t sit so well with a man made flying object of great power! Pure magic!
PennyEdwardes
Very clever!love the red and the dirty plane!
victor
I’ve checked with the art photographers union, and there’s a potential demarkation disspute here,
I’m the airplane guy. I like the way the fuselage does not have a begining or an end, could take you anywhere, stuck with no escape behind those dirty little windows begining to weep with neglect, 20thC technology just starting to show its age, in a few decades it will look as ancient as a steam train. Slightly sinister but as beautiful as anything nature can toss at us.
ChimpCity
great piece paul… I also love the cropping and great colours. The scale of the plane really hits you when you focus on the small windows. Maybe it’s because i hate flying, but i find commercial aircraft so captivating…
meanderthal
fabulous shot paul… the composition just oozes style….love your treatment as always….flown iberia a few times myself and i’d have to agree with you on your assessment.. although the worst has to be aerolineas argentinas… brilliant stuff with this one though…
Flamejob
Hola – Striking image Paul and creatively framed.
Simon Mammino
Hey another striking industrial shot Paul, the colours just jump of the page at you but remain so soft and delicate. Love this.
Suzanne German
the tone and the contrasting cherry almost candy coloured stripes next to a big bold aeroplane setting….’set it off’..... for me.. :)
Bruce Watson
Pick of the ‘crop’. Nice earthy tones mixed with the red. Reminds me of some Photoshop duotone effects. Nice.
marieancolie
Poor company Iberia …..... They are in a real bad situation !
Anyway.. as I love planes so much, I like the photo very much ! The colours, the light on it, the lighting around.. A s in a dream for me.
Ps : Paul, I do not understand your sentence on my photo “fly me to the moon”.. Can you help me to better understand …. Sorry to be so stupid :((
alistair mcbride
Great graphic shot the colours jump out of the image
Mel Brackstone
Very creatively framed…..and the colours are amazing!
Melinda Kerr
I love the way the little windows match the diagonal lines. Is it my imagination or are you changing your cropping of late from horizontal to square? It’s a great eye that can do that. I can only seem to frame in landscape. Well done Mr V another ripper.
theurbannexus
That is fantastic. Airliner shots have always excited me, and the dramatic red and stormy tones do it for me. The foreground accentuates this feeling… love it.
Sabine Spiesser
Being in the right place at the right time!!! Well done.
I bet Iberia would have preferred a less sharp rendition of their old birds.
Chloe Flathers
wow i love how all of the colors tie in. I love it!
antony hamilton

Hiya Paul
Thanks for your comments. This must be a bit of a mutual appreciation society because I really like your work two- particularly pieces like this one that display very strong graphic and formal qualities. Reminds me a little of painter Jeffrey Smart, a bit of a hero of mine.
Cheers

Hi Paul, magic shot…it looks surreal, the colours ,tones …I had a quick look around for a hidden body, legs but couldn’t find any;)

Somehow I missed this until now. Damn! This image is EVERYTHING I love. I was an Army brat and raised in airports; they still hold grand fascination for me. And did I mention I love very graphic work? This hits the mark on so many levels—perfect.

The three sons of Prince Akbar of Saudi Arabia were all due to come of age.
The prince asked the first son. what do you want as a gift from me and my people?
The son answered “Father I would like a yacht!”
The Prince bought him the Cunard Liner Queen Mary 2
The Prince asked the second son what would he like
The Son replied “Father I would like a fast car”
The Prince bought him the Maclaren Formula 1 team
The Prince then asked his youngest (and dimmest) son the same question
The Son replied “Gee dad, I guess i would like a cowboy outfit!”
The Prince bought him the Iberia airline!
boom boom look everyone i’m really sorry, it’s late and my brain wants to sleep
