5 Stars! Great image – love the flatness and painterly especially in Bruno… Your style is fantastic. The darker light in ther top left corner and the repetition of shapes really make the composition. Love the description and also Brunos pose!

...........I’ve been sitting here speechless for a good 5 mins. Taking in this incredible visual banquet! I’ve been “Um’ing” and “ah’ing” over wether or not I’d have cropped out the dark bit on the left..I find it draws my eye up and away from the image..but holy god! what an image! I love the ‘wash” of the colours…and that 1950’s “painterly” ( . I love this to death!, death I tell you!

Melody – can I say your comments are what I look forward to… you have an amazing way with words as with your images (I think I have said this before….) T H A N K Y O U ! ...for appreciating Bruno and his environment. As I’ve said to Lindsay I spent quite some time framing and cropping this image, just to show the texture and pure fabric of our lonely hero.

wow….and again…wow. really special stuff here my friend. i am drawn to the pieces of paper of the control desk and of course the overall colour and effect is just ….i’m finding it hard to comprehend the genius of this image….take a bow.

I like that he wears King Gee pants for safety! Great composition!

Yes, how did you get here? It really is an unusual and special capture.

When are we going to see a book or a show of this work ? Individually the images are great, but the whole series would be something else.

excellent, timeless and feels like there is a history there! plus, Bruno looks cool!

Man, I hope he isn’t the work experience guy – does anyone else find the oversized post-it notes alarming? It has me thinking that a note written in texta is saving us from ultimate destruction.
Hey Melody: understand your comment about the dark corner but I have to say I am really happy Paul left it in – it’s that corner that gives me the eerie understanding that Bruno wasn’t just the cleaner marking time. I love the balance of the greens and the orange/red wash creeping up from the bottom – very subtle but pulls together beautifully. I am really loving this image.
Aaron .
Wow – what an interesting image – there so much to look at and those banks of controls really engage the eye. Sensational.
Michael Douglass
Ha, great image Paul. I think if I commented on all the images I like on redbubble then I will end up commenting on your entire portfolio. I appreciate the sense of humour as well. I haven’t owned a TV for a while but I think thats a Simpsons reference.

Epic, astonishing, when you stare into it the perspective throws you all over and the subtle colours keep you warm while you’re discovering new things to visually feast upon. Remarkable.

Mmm. Belly o’ the beast…

i’m seeing some kind of the old classic comic’s here .don’t know why , but there’s that old 20’s to 40’s kind of mutant thing going on, your diffrent styles are interesting and intruding [if that’s the right word]...is this the dr evil, about to mutate!!!!!!!!
Mel Brackstone
Gobsmacked!! sitting here taking it all in,from that scary red glow at the base, to the myriad buttons and notes on the control deck, and then all those lights and things above his head. Your processing has made the shot extra special, imho. (I wish I had Melody’s gift of commenting…..) I half expect to see an alien hand appear from the red glow….

Push the red Button – I SAID THE RED BUTTON AAAAARGH
Hehe
Brilliant shot.
Your work is all awesome.

Unbenownst to most of the staff at the seven mile island nuclear facility a small upset between the HR computer and a glass of conky cola was responsible for Bruno’s speedy promotion to shift supervisor. He wasn’t sure if the dyslexia or colour blindness would effect his new role and following a half days ‘orientation’ Bruno was ready for his new role of shift supervisor in 7G. The line ‘don’t touch nuffin’ screamed by his trainer rang in his ears! but his fingers were beginning to itch and that big shiney mushroom needed thumping
