This has a beautiful feel of a Jeffrey Smart Painting to it. The yellow cast and the simple urban geometry of the signs and road are fantastic. The jump-suited road worker provided as sense of anonymity and sterility to the scene – which adds to the image.

Interesting the way the road veers left out of the photo . It leaves us to ponder the fellow in the shot. Great treatment and nice asymmetrical composition.

hehehe nice shot, we dont get flourescent suits over here in GB, it certainly would add a bit of colour to our boring ole roads :) apart from the obvious orange highway dudes, Belgiums a beautiful place isn’t it?

Brilliant image – great use of colours and the way the arrows make you look at the right hand corner – then whisk you round and off left . The guy in the orange suit may be there just to check up on people staring too long at the right hand side of the image…..
