Belgium Forest
Entered this amazing forest and all I could think about was dividing the scene into tiny small frames of images within images, hopefully this translates my head space at the time…

Now that is very very cool!!
Stephen Mitchell
The vignetting in the bottom left and right… deliberate?
Again, great organic color range in the background.
Jonathan Russell
I like that it dissolves into the top of the frame – translates perfectly, I reckon.
Mel Brackstone
Making me shiver! I guess that means you’ve certainly imparted the “feel” extremely well! Love the idea of picture in picture.
Mark Hayward
Very matrixy paul. You must be having fun translating and executing visual ideas so quickly and spontaneously as your on the move. Keep them coming!

I see the trees but I also see reflections as in a lake..beautiful capture. the idea of splitting it up works perfectly …. sometimes landscapes are all about the feelings you have rather than the visual..hope that makes sense.

Paul, don’t really know how this one escaped me… I often have the same feeling when I enter a Belgian forest, but you actually succeeded in capturing the mood!! Nice work, cool subject!
Larasolnishko
Very original, creative. May add something? That forest lived 3-4-5-6 thousand years. The tree which died has there spirit as well, you manage to show for me the spirits of that lovely balgian forest. thank you phylosopher.

Another one I had to revisit. This reminds me of Rob’s work in many ways, but then again it’s so different again. Your head must be full of the most amazing ideas, I don’t know how you can function sometimes, with all that’s going on in there…
Paul Vanzella
Mel, you are way too kind… yes, it does get a bit hectic in there, thanks for re-visiting some of my old stuff… : )
