Paul, this parallel universe idea has been buggin me lately… without proof it could be just science fiction, but I was there in a dream the other night, no stimulants involved…felt heavenly and woke up totally tranced…it took a while to come back to this dimension. Oh yeah and there was a big bare tree there like your root turned upside down although my colours were all black and white.
Jeez, I guess you had to be there…

So simple, but so effective …

I can’t stop looking at it to comment, LOL The tones and shapes are unbelievably fascinating and then there is the way you are working with depth and focus that draws me so in as the gaze moves back and forth between the many levels. I love it when you create these types of abstract compositions, they are fantastic and this image is amazing!!!!

Beautiful texture work Paul. I love the subtle colours and the hint of a background is a dreamscape. I especially like the fine golden sand and I really like the vignette edging. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing, almost tactile. Amazing depth, this is so soft and very beautiful.

fabulous imagery

I had to come back for a second comment on this one. I was driving around yesterday and, as I do, thinking about subjects to shoot and nearly running off the road several times as my attention wandered to the fields and vistas before me. There are so many inspirational artists here on Redbubble that I often find my mind also wandering over images that have stuck in my head recently as I drive… and this was one of them.

This creature/weed/root system thing has been presented in such a way that it has taken on a life of its own, and a personalty to boot! I can just imagine you calling its agent and arranging a suitable time for a studio photoshoot! Very cool Mr Vanzella.
