Paul Ive been playing with creating weathered images but guess I don’t have to now, I can look at yours. Great as usual. The orange in the V of her legs seems to be the initial point where you focus, then I was drawn down the slope of the hill, around the bend and up the road and back to the initial orange flower. Clever work.
This is stunning Paul, love the folds in the background, the tatts and leopard print skirt add a seductive tone…memories of pleasures past, wonderful image!
This is stunning Paul, love the folds in the background, the tatts and leopard print skirt add a seductive tone the curve of her butt follows the curve on the hill…memories of pleasures past, wonderful image!
The fold marks do it for me. It’s like a moment remembered and kept secret and treaured when drawn out and unfolded. Like a memory in that way. The background accentuates that. Damn you’re good.
Cool image. Get a forbidden thing going on here, were the photo has been folded up and keep in someone’s wallet or pants for ages. Holding onto to a secret moment?? Hmm… not that’s the writer in me talking.
I swear this has now got more colour in it than when i first looked at it this morning….in fact i`m pretty sure the first image was completely black and white?
Paul this is wicked indeed, I LOVE it. The aged treatment is wonderful and the tones really add to the image. Fantastic crop and focus on the main areas of interest. One of my fav shots on here without a doubt:)
Nothing up your sleeve? Yeah right. Love your work mate. It’s magic. I would love to know hw you applyed that aged effect to the image. I wonder if the magition will share his secrets? Hmmm… not likely. hope you do thought. Keep up the great work. This image has been a very popular one for you. Well done mate. C u round Paul.
Gorgeous as usual Paul and very intriguing! I love the weathered effects, the fold lines and the cropping. Makes me want to know what the rest of her looks like. :)
Looking back through your portfolio I will have to admit your work is consistently of the highest standard. You are, in my opinion, the best visual artist presently on this site.
You gotta stop folding your photos up mate ;) hehehehe This has the feel of one of those old French Movies from the 60’s for me … love the shoes …. can just imagine she is reaching into the boot of the car to pull out one of those huge old round retro suitcases ;) Awesome :)
beautiful colour combination.. it whispers me these lyrics for some strange reason.. ‘autumn is here inside my heart when there s spring time in the air.. ‘
thanks so much for the comments paul i appreciate it so much i cant even tell you. Btw i was in love with your work the second i came on here. very original the way you capture the photos you take.
This is really, really awesome, Paul! Like an old photo/picture that’s been folded up in some guys pocket for yonks, and he’s either thrown it out, or it accidentally got blown away – perhaps he still has the other part of it, the piece with her face…........ One can imagine all sorts of things here. Could be a great lead into a story for a creative writier! It has real mystery in it.
I can’t believe I didn’t comment on this, it’s been sitting in my favorites since I first signed on. I love the feeling that there is a great story behind this shot, the mood is like a memory, and the composition has so much to say!!! I love it. Just thought I should finally let you know!
I have read all the comments and there really is nothing to add – I just want to say this is beautifully atmospheric – and I wish I knew how you acheived it :-)
This picture looks like an advertisement for a movie full of teenagers who go on trip only to find that they are being picked off by someone with a grudge. It looks very haunting.

Sandra Chung, about 1 year ago
I look at this, and with the texture and creasing, it reminds me of ‘saved page of a magazine’. kept folded in a book.
