Did you get a sno cone too? I think I would have to have one!! love that sno cone truck and the little girl’s anticipation -perhaps she’s deciding on which flavor she wants.
The street sign anchors the image and all the brickwork gives such texture.
    love this Paul!!

    Foxfires

HA! This is eerie. I was just messaging my friend, and we were daydreaming about making limoncello snocones with a 1978 Snoopy Snocone machine. But hey, a delivery guy with a little cart works for me!! LOL

All that aside, I love the sweetness of this shot. I can feel the summertime heat.

A city steeped in history…. and sno-cones. This shot is mesmerizing with its simple study of humans in mundane surroundings doing mundane things… yet the feeling is extraordinary, not only because of its stunning treatment, but because their is a certain anticipation in the frame as if something is about to happen. We are staying tuned….:))

I love how the bareness of the image isolate’s and draw’s the eye to your subject’s.
It’s interesting as the little girl seem’s to be hanging back to see further into te van.
    Another well done.

I’m in PV Heaven of late – You just keep finding diamonds in the American rough!
Just look at that back wall! It’s a masterpiece in itself (any chance you took some close up’s of just the wall – you could sell them as stock – it’s that good!!).
I’ve stared at this brilliant piece for minutes -soaking in all the bits in that make it so unique and enjoyable to stare at.

I love the contradiction in this and wonder who gets the veto vote! The perspective, minimal distraction and that one bright spot of green – it all comes down to that little girl who knows exactly what she wants and is determined to get it. It’s a pity the street sign wasn’t pointing the other way! Wonderful find, Paul – I wonder if they’ll ship one over here, ice-cream, that is?

  • Karin Taylor
