Paul, tis difficult to focus on those pewter mugs, when there is a thigh of heaven in my face…
I like the male models pose, looking away from the female model….the light upon his face is ethereal.

I’m not sure what to take of the mans’ expression, is he looking away wistfully, concentrating on a game, or averting his eyes, each seems to have merit.

Beautiful shot Paul, You have a certain style and specific use of tone that is really owned by yourself.

This is in your face, but the story it tells is marvellous! The beer bottle and the glow on his face stand out for me.

Really stunning, Paul. Lighting is exceptional, as is composition and treatment.

Perfect composition

This is yet another of your great images Paul. The toning and smoothness of the image are superb. I like the ambiguity it poses too with the man looking away from the obvious attraction in front of him. Why? What is he looking at? The pewter mugs are really largely irrelevant to the image although they do add to the background a bit.

Hell, yeah! Cricket? What cricket? Excellent expression and sexy, stockinged legs. I wouldn’t have noticed the mugs for several minutes if you hadn’t pointed out.

Love how your stuff has a sheen to it. Many of your pics have a Jeffrey Smart kind of surreal nature. I used to love blue light, but people have convinced me to head the other way over the past few years. Photos like this sway me back =)

a football manager once said that sport is way more important than life an death i guess this chap feels the same way about it… mind you this is cricket we are talking about so i guess that it comes down to a pretty poor crop on pauls part from showing what he’s looking at….

streaker, public schoolboy mooning players and fans from a bi-plane or indian businessman writing cheque to throw the game.

As we can plainly see Jo no clothes yet again felt missed out to not be the focus of this shot so at the last minute (just as paul said say cheeese) she threw herself onto the table.

Wonderful again Paul. When are you going to post a crap picture for a change ? It seems you have moved away from your earlier, brighter tones in this one but retained that precise, selectively blurred element to this, which for me, is a real signature of your work. You have, however really maintained the sharpness on the elements of the image that matter – the highlights in the blokes hair and face and the highlights in the lingerie really contrast to the muted tones.

Dont know what this guy has to be miffed about – a pair of legs like that AND free beer ? Jeez !

I would love to know what headspace this guy is in. Here he has it all laid out on a platter before him and yet… he looks away, is more focussed inwards. Or is he waiting for someone to walk through the door I imagine off the edge of the photo?

Hi Paul…Love the steely tones in this one…When I first read the title…I read in my mind “Oceans Eleven” as in the film and saw Brad Pitt in a bar in Las Vegas…if this was the case then he would have been looking at Julia Roberts…which would have definately distracted him from the hotty on the bar. Isn’t it great when an image of yours does all this to someone!!!
