Green Triangle

Paul Vanzella

Green Triangle

Green Triangle is all about a pasage in time, and the careful use of space…. Now I’m not saying I’m completely voyeuristic, however, perched above a Cruise ship about to leave Venice I couldn’t help being marvelled by the comings and goings of the boarding process, and along comes, and I’ve coined it “Miss Italy” complete with boyant stride and outfit to match, turning heads along the way akin to a fashion runway. The raw concrete provided the perfect backdrop for her to be extra dazzling, not that she needed any hlep. Anyway, this piece is all about shapes as they appear before our eyes.

Fantastic! – I love where your new images are going… You have taken your work to another level. The composition and process is really well though out. Great perspective on more than one level and luuuve that concrete.

Mmm, and what a lovely pair of shapes those were, Paul! No, on a more serious note…This is great. Love the textured concrete as the basis for the capturing and recording of each moment in time.

I meant to add too that the green triangle shape is a great lead in…...... I love all the space and simplicity of this image. It conveys so much.

I am so not worthy, but I am learning. Its a wonder, what you have come up with. Miss Italy, should be proud of your image, of her! I am brave but do not know if I take the shot without Miss Italy’s approval first. But that would loose the natural look, dont you think? If it could be mistaken, I usaully will not do any more than amire. I am worried about somebody taken it the wrong way, and not considering it as art. In my, King of The Road, I had watercolored to hide the riders identity. I am sure he would not mind, but until I hear its Ok from my subject, I try to hide who they are. I had heard, if its in public, but dont want to be sued. I guess to capture Miss Italy, slapped would be Ok, maybe even punched by her husband, or lover!. Its the cops I would be worried about, until my work is somewhat better known. I think your work is artistic and creative by nature!

I keep coming back to this, I find this type of subtlety so much more appealing, and combined with your outstanding composition, it combines to make a totally winning image for me. I expect Miss Italy would be very proud of seeing the way you’ve captured her assets too!
