Cathedrals in B-Major

Paul Vanzella

Cathedrals in B-Major

Again experimenting with soundscapes within a visual medium. I’ve taken the key of B-Major to a colour scheme and added highlighted washes of movement to mirror sound that floats in and out. Listening to local ambient artist James Gordon Anderson, this image reflects his washes and tones, smooth majestic energy and the underlying theme of blissful sound.

Why had a not seen this before?

Amidst the layers and the weft lies the silence
The stillness that beckons the calling
Truth…i see him flirting with serendipity’s kiss
Masked by angelic tonic flavors of bliss
Then, back into our reality he weaves his space
i am bedazzled, and ever so gently moved
