I can’t find appropriate, descriptive enough words for this magnificent image. Pure professionalism! The lighting/highlights are great, a strange warm glow in contrast to the black dirt. I’m left with an intense feeling of loneliness looking at this.
Catalin Soare

Like everyone else I’ve run out of superlatives for your work Paul. This is so atmospheric with the blurred backdrop. Gorgeous!
Jeff Burns
Speechless on this one. WOW what a brilliant shot and scene. Amazingly done.
Juilee Pryor
Its beautiful. Well done both of you. Lovely image.
Bill Proctor
Have just had a look at the rest of your work Paul…great stuff! Being a painter I am reminded of Edward Hopper and Jeffrey Smart. You have a great sense of colour…
Sarah Matthews
Hey, what was this project in aid of? You have a great vision.
It conveys beauty as well as dark solitary morbidity! I love the spotlighting, that is purposeful for the cold aesthetic as well as pushing some of the background into sight. The softness of the background works so well for the subject.
Ciska
love the lights and darks, fantastic work
Flamejob
Congratulations to the both of you. Jo – you look so glamorous – dirty but glamorous. Paul this is an exciting new direction from your usual style. Bravo.

The shimmering sheen of the light and its stark contrast to the industrial surrounds really work. Lots of atmosphere.
Damian
Simply wonderful image! Love the style and mood!
Rob McDonald
i dont know what to say but it is a very interesting shot. I dont know how you got those great shades but it looks great
rippedangelwings
I like the concept and the mood. What I don’t like is tha artificial blur. I am guessing that you did it after you took the photograph, because some parts are blurry at the background while others aren’t. Keep up the good work!
Sam Sneddon
Gday Paul, Nice artistic piece this one. A little different from a lot of the stuff in your gallery. Very dark and moody. I like the lighting – it has a little bit of a cinematic feel to it. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the series.
hugo
fantastic work
sandra56
This is so amazing, great work
shawhouse
Wow, this is gorgeous. Moody and cinematic. I expect Marlowe to show up and solve the crime. Thanks for letting me know about it. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Bravo.

Christina Martin
Would be great for a movie. Great shot.
Michelle422
Paul, I find this quite disturbing. I know that you are a great artist but this does feel a bit too CSI Miami to me. You know I am an avid fan and whenever I mention Red Bubble I point you out to everyone as an example of extreme quality. Bear in mind, this is a personal reaction that I had to air. Best wishes, Michelle.
minoanphotography
This is a GREAT high end shot- styling, direction, photography= awsum! Good job Paul and Jo.

Stefan Trenker

Mel Brackstone
Your skills in photography are very obvious here Paul, and your photoshop work even more so!
maxiphotography
This is very good but very disturbing. She looks dead and dumped, having been murdered. Perhaps this is what you were trying to achieve?
Craig Goldsmith
Sensational, gritty, raw, masterfully crafted, captured and processed at every stage you can see the care the two of you have put into this, bloody awesome, congratulations Jo and Paul! Blown me away!
Lachlan Kent
... evocative… provocative… disturbing…
John Robb
It’s good, I like the work put into the layout and getting the elements arranged. I wonder how a more direct lighting method would work – I’m not sure of the dappled lighting on the backhoe and the body.
lizzy
Brilliant image – particularly love the glow on the skin and clothing, and the light control in the shadows. Well done to both of you!
Brett Foster
Held my breath when I saw the splash screen. Great start to what looks as though it will be an intersting journey. Consider me On Board. Very well constructed shot Paul.
Frank Legault

Incredible…......Don’t know what else to say…...
except that the hairs are standing up on the back of my neck…......

I’ve had a complaint from my site foreman about someone messin’ around with his strategically placed piles of dirt and I was gonna report it to the police. But now that I realize it was done by artists and I’ve seen the brilliant result I think I’ll let it slide.
frogster
Everything on this image says A+ work, the lighting is outstanding.

o.k. o.k. i’ve come back and can now say how very much indeed i love this piece. Her pose is beauitfully fragile and serene, i love the tones of her skin and the lighting on it, it’s magical and as the title suggests, really does have a quiet sense about it.

Dan Coates
With all these comments I don’t think I could say anything that hasn’t already been said, but what the hell. This is absolutely brilliant, I love the way that the blurring of the background and area around the model draws your eyes directly to the subject. The muted tones and softness are amazing. Thankyou for sharing this.
