just how do you do it, the light here is so perfect ( did you ask them to line the green and orange car next to each other?). only thing i’d say is the black border a little too thick… which has nothing to do with quality of your excellent photo

geez I wouldn’t want to be taking that orange one over any speed humps…..crikey !!!!!! ouch and all that…. great image….it looks like its all made out of sugar…....... :)

This looks like a film set. Great tones. Love the cars, architecture & fashion from that era but I wouldn’t want to have to wait by the stove in an apron for my husband to come home from work

How cool, I attended the same Gold Coast Hotrod show back in 2004 and have a couple of shots in my folio from that awesome trip. Course, my treatments don’t compare to this great work. Love the colours and reflections – in a way they almost look like miniatures the way the shot is composed. They are amazing machines, ain’t no doubt! :o)

Awesome Photo Paul. Happy to have found it on the homepage. The Gold Coast brings back fond memories for me, after staying there we affectionately named it the OLD Coast. Stewed Prunes and Grandmas at the breakfast buffet was indeed like I stepped back in time and there wasn’t even a car show in town. ;)

Stunning image!!! The post treatment is brilliant.

Of the very many things which intrigue me about this image, the asymmetry – which you do do so effortlessly – makes me most envious…. While most of us are tyrannized by balance and neatly distributed weight… you seem to casually toss off images which defy gravity. This one should tumble counter clockwise and yet it is solid as… as… the auras of those three street rods. From palette, through form, shape, through light… all of this prods at my imagination… but that lopsided powerful asymmetrical loading REEEEEEELY ROCKS!
