A mist shrouded Ironbridge Gorge at dawn. The steam vapour from the cooling towers can be seen to be punching a hole through the low clouds.
Apparently this power station is amongst the most polluting per Mega Watt of electricity output of the UK’s power generators. Although on this particular morning, I felt it took on a charm all of it’s own.
A scene that won’t be repeated too often as it’s scheduled for decommission sometime in 2015.
