Proof that photographers have weird things going on in their heads. I was making a cup of coffee earlier and a great shot came into my head, so, as you do it just had to be taken.
Out came the lighting, backdrops, tripod, back of tricks,
then ‘the kettle’. Several attempts later to get good steam I had grabbed a shot I was happy with.
No Photoshop involved, all the lighting is genuine, simply spotted a little in Aperture 3, cropped slightly as I often don’t like standard framing and there you have it.
Nikon D3, Tokina 100mm macro at f13 100 ISO
Lighting: 1 x Elinchrom Head & Soft Box, 2 x Vivitar 285s and one reflector.
1 x Kettle and water.
