its an expression. “i was pants down, number one!” basically it means that the winning was done so easily, like there was no competition. Not sure of the origins of the expression, but its an English one which is here in South Australia.

It’s always been mine… I’ve had a yellow red bubble shirt for about 2 years, and worn it so much it’s almost turned white… and it has a hole in the armpit… I still wear it.
