CINDERBLOCK
Nothin’ but pencil!
This shirt is partly an experiment to see if I can make one image work on black AND white simultaneously. I think I failed.

CINDERBLOCK belongs to the following groups:

It doesn’t look too bad on the black…. just needs to be a wee bit lighter… great idea tho…
Paul McClintock
replied
It gets lost more so in the grey coloured shirts, black is barely acceptable. I might fiddle with it some more.
Alyson Pearson
I dunno I like the rawness and the tone on tone ones, cute design too :)
Paul McClintock
replied
Thanks Alyson… The sneaky idea is that the gritty pencil is supposed to look spotty, so it doesn’t matter if the print isn’t perfect.
Alyson Pearson
yeah that’s right, I like it.
I hope you didn’t think I meant I didn’t like it – I meant that I like the rawness! hehe
Paul McClintock
replied
Don’t worry, it sounded like a positive comment to me. :D

hahaha….. love this!
how cool would cinderblock tetris be?
Paul McClintock
replied
I thought that’s what tetris was??? Was I reading too much into the storyline of tetris all these years? I thought it was set on a building site.
ellejayerose
hahaha…. I thought it was built on trying to make the alphabet fit typographically perfectly into the smallest space… silly me

Thanks Deb. I don’t have enough black shirts available. I feel that my goth fan-base is suffering.

Oh the days spent in the backyard travelling through the amazon on a cinder block! Or laying seige to… a cinder block.

This is a great idea. Love the shirt in most of the colors including black.

Haha! A quote to make my grandparents proud.

My father was the inspiration for this… not that he’s ever said anything like this, but it’s only a matter of time.

works on white, dunno about the black. Great concept though. Back when I was young we didn’t need no new-fangled video machines to keep us entertained. All I had to play with as a child was a brick. I called him “bricky”, he was my best friend. God I miss you Bricky.
Paul McClintock
replied
But whenever “Bricky” would break a window, mother would blame me! No matter how many times I’d tell her “Bricky did it! Bricky did it!”

Hey darling, I’m sniffing your clothes. Despite you clearly knowing what I mean, I bet that’s still creepy.
stupidland
