frowny mcgee
I was watching a particularly grotesque horror film last night, called ‘Inside’ and the main character was such a frowny face even before she was being attacked by some crazy woman that wanted her unborn child.
So I started doodling while I watched it. This is the result. It’s not a direct likeness of the girl, but it’s similar. In case you can’t tell, I love fringes.

awsome drawing mate. Do you colour these in photoshop?
Paul McClintock
replied
Yes. It’s entirely digital. Corel Painter for the sketch, and digital inking, as well as basic white base and fills, and then I move it to Photoshop to finalise the colours and treatment and export to finished file.

Paul McClintock
replied
Yep. I use a Wacom Intuos3 9×12.

Wonderful drawing Paul. I’m assuming this is from the famous song as well – “Me And Frowny McGee”?

I absolutely love your illustration style Paul!! It’s so refined yet a bit sketchy and I like that about it. I wish that I could be half as good as you on drawing.

To get an emotion emanating from an illustration is quite something. Something I will never attain. My goal is to do that with my photography – I try anyways :o)
A feeling of her saying ’ So What !!’ just beams out of your picture by telepathy :o)
