This vintage sewing pattern is so wild, it’s difficult to imagine how any keen dressmaker could make sense out of it to actually sew something!?!?!
I simply LOVE the lines and patterns of all vintage sewing papers, in fact I’m pretty obsessed with them. That’s what my side project called PATTURN is all about, reclaiming the vintage look and using it in new and interesting ways.
I usually decoupage the paper on to lampshades (PATTURN is on Etsy and Facebook), but I am also experimenting with digital art and mixed media.
More complex designs coming soon to my Red Bubble page, but this scan is as pure as you get without me diluting its awesomeness!!!
