I am a photographer and artist working predominantly in watercolour. I am based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.
My current project is centered around the settings and vintage accoutrements associated with afternoon tea. The inspiration came when I inherited part of my great Grandma Ethel’s tea set last year. I realized how pretty and delicate vintage china is. I was also inspired by my honeymoon to Sri Lanka where I visited tea plantations. My Gran instilled in me a love of afternoon Tea. I am building up quite a collection of china to paint in a still life setting, always using flowers to enhance the china’s beauty.
Commissions include the architecture of Oxford Colleges and other exhibition venues include The Jam Factory, the Phoenix Cinema and various tea shops in Oxfordshire.
I welcome any constructive feed back on my work.
