Ya, I stole parts of the name from the famous “American Gothic” painting, but what the heck else was I gonna name this? After striking out from doing some seascapes because of rain, I was heading home and happened upon this sheep waiting by the door of this home. Did he want to go in? Was he waiting for someone? He was very posessive of this door and kept a few other sheep away from it by stomping his feet. Sorta strange, but thats all I have for today…

I have been to Maine, a couple of years ago… beautiful and somehow creepy… it looks like every Stephen King book I have ever read…

  • Now you know where he gets all his material from!

I stayed in my cousin’s farm house which is only a few miles from King’s place, and just down the road from where he got hit by a car.

Amazing place…. not many houses painted any colour other than white tho…

  • that whole deal of him getting hit by the car was right out of one of his books..in fact I think he worked it into a book later on.
