I agree with Garth Patricia, this is such a good photo!!! The depth of field in the shot, the interplay of light over the various waves & eddies, the back wave throwing up all that spray…. then you have the light from the sunrise. This is an award winner in itself! Extremely well done!

Thank you Lee, I’m now thinking that maybe I should have not cropped it, it had an even greater DOF but this way it brings more focus to the detail of the water spray which is what I was trying to capture in the first place. I’m glad you like it!

When I crop or manipulate I always (now anyway) keep the original untouched. I learnt this from experience although sometimes i still do stuff up a click and overwrite the original by mistake.
