Route 66 Mom & Pop Motel by Patricia Montgomery
Clear

Currently unavailable for purchase

Locally owned “Mom & Pop” motels such as this can been seen along sections of Route 66. Many of these motels or motor courts went out of business with the arrival of the interstate, but some are still thriving.

If you are ever in Williams, Arizona you should bypass the more modern interstate lodging and drive a few blocks and take a step back to a different time. These motels are not lavish but almost always are clean and the owners will make you feel very welcome!

This is the last of my collection of Route 66 photos until the hubby and I make our next road trip down a new section of The Mother Road…
