The Chief John Ross Memorial bridge is named for the first elected leader of the Cherokee Nation who lived in Rome in the 19th century. The bridge is located one block off downtown Rome. The 450 foot bridge spans the Oostanaula River.

One of a series of images taken in and around my hometown.

What a pretty bridge and a perfect day to photograph it. Beautiful image. I love the lights and wrought iron fencing.
