One of a series of images taken in and around my hometown.
An infrared image taken just below the crest of historic Myrtle Hill Cemetery, a hillside cemetery that covers 25 acres built on 5 terraces and is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The early citizens of Rome, Georgia chose hills for cemeteries because of the flooding of city’s three rivers.
