Communication links are often broken while replying to comments. The mistake is one that is sometimes made even by those who have been around the Bubble for awhile. I know I have done it several times myself and had to correct it.

Here’s how it happens. You have posted a fabulous image and almost immediately one of the RBers in the community writes a great comment. You want to thank them for their support.

You will simply start typing in the comment box which stays open at the bottom of the screen. Seems the logical thing to do, but that comment area is NOT a reply box. If you type your response there, you have just commented on your own image! The person you were replying to will not see it unless they happen to come back to the image for some reason. Most won’t.

Okay, so now you have read my tutorial and realize you have been replying in the wrong place. No worries, it can be easily fixed!

Go back to your image and use the delete link to delete YOUR comment. Be careful, though, and do not delete the other person’s comment, just YOURS.

Now click the reply link (far right of the person’s name) and write your return comments in the reply box that pops open. Click Add Reply and the person you were replying to will see it in their activity monitor.
