Images in the poster collage were taken at the Burra Burra mine site. The Burra Burra Mine site has preserved 10 buildings on the site, the mine office, including the shop building, change house, hoist house, and powder house. The site is located on 17 acres and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Copper was mined from the Burra Burra site from 1899 to 1959.
The historic Burra Burra mine site is located in southeastern Tennesssee where 300 acres of denuded land has been set aside as a memorial to the devastation of the Copper Basin.
