Morning Rays… The redwood forest of northern California had been shady and dark for the most part on this October morning in 2004 . But when we rounded the curve on this section of the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway, the sun’s morning rays were filtering downward in angled beams of bright light onto the roadway. The parkway is located between Orick and Klamath, California.
