    Hi Patrick, This looks amazingly near where we stayed in February, we were in Carquerianne. You’re right, it’s not the usual view but still a great photo, I love the depth of colour and texture in the rocks.

    Hello Suze, you have a good eye :) It’s just in Carqueiranne and the land on the horizon is the Presqu’île de Giens

    A lovely part of the world Patrick. Moving to a slightly different genre’ I can just about see how a face (or part of) could be overlayed into the foreground rock pools – whcih along with the weather and sea could bring a surreal and perhaps sinister look about it… just a thought – great shot as is though

    It is a shame that Tourism Offices feel that they don’t need to appeal to those with an artistic eye or a love of mood (other than sunny blue skies) or atmosphere. I love this! I wanna go there!
