Parrying a table leg by patjila
Clear

During the training table legs transformed into wooden swords are used.
A good way of recycling isn’t it? Oh by the way the axe was real.
At the end of the training the sword was broken into pieces…who said it’s just a boys game??

Shot taken during the pvp combat training session in the Encampment of Kampen in Netherlands 2011. This year there will be no event taken place, too bad!

It was for me a practise of using Selective Colours, and studying poses during combat. (For what? Fighting? Nah, just for drawing experience, boring eh?)

What a table leg can be used for!! good it was not a chippendale table!
    Good action shot Annet.

  • ha ha Gilberte it would be a beautiful arty sword …but a tiny little bit too expensive I guess (when smashed to pieces that would hurt wouldn’t it? :)
Thank you so much, dankje Gilberte!
